Newsletter 5 – Week 6
POSTIVE CLIMATE FOR LEARNING
Term 1, Week 6, 2021
Welcome to Week 6 of Term 1 and hasn’t time flown!
So far this term our school community have adjusted from onsite learning to remote learning, to back to onsite learning. Congratulations to the school community for supporting each other through these uncertain times.
Next week we excited to be hosting the Burmese Community Morning Tea at 9:15am in the PCL Community Hub, our friendly staff will greet attendees at the school drop off gate beside the PCL Hub.
This year we welcomed 25 new families to our school community and we have received further enquiries. It is always a pleasure to show families around the school sharing information about our vibrant and engaging curriculum, the many supports we offer our students as they engage in their learning and of course our fabulous facilities.
We are looking forward to the fun of the Sports Days for Primary Students – Friday 12th March and Secondary (+ P11) students – Thursday 11th March. An invitation has been sent out via School Stream. Please reply using the survey link to let us know if you will be joining us to cheer on our students and celebrate their learning as they participate in a range of very accessible and enjoyable physical activities. Many thanks to Robyn Goulding (PE teacher) for her organization of these events.
Watch this space for information about more events throughout the year including Education Week, Book Week, Science Week and the School Concert.
